To find an Anti Aging Skin Care Product that actually works, you should look for a few key ingredients. Skin care experts agree that three ingredients are essential: sunscreen, moisturizer, and collagen.
Nowadays, one can find wrinkle creams having Vitamin A and/or Vitamin E present in them. It is believed that Anti Aging Skin Care Products containing vitamins are much better than other products. Every single day a new skin care product is launched.
Modern science has not yet found a way to completely stop or reverse the effects of aging. However, advances have been made in recent years, and there are now a number of products that can aid a woman in looking younger.

Winning the Battle with Weight Loss
May 14th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed Weight Loss is a real health issue with so many people today, and there’s just so much conflicting information that it’s no wonder people don’t know what to do or which plan to follow.
Some plans suggest eating only low fat foods, and others eating only low-carb.
Many used to think that losing weight is just a matter of cutting a meal or two out, but recent research shows that eating more meals a day is better.
Take supplements, or do it with just diet and exercise?
Exercise using weights or aerobics?
Even with changes to diet and exercise routines, some are struggling with weight loss. Research is now showing why.
We now know that some of the foods we eat are resulting in digestive problems that make weight loss a bigger problem than simply changing our diet a bit, or exercising more. Research released recently by Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst supports this.
We now know that plaque deposits and parasites in the gut are two problems that complicate the issue of weight loss for many people.
By making some simple changes to your daily routine, you can address these problems once and for all, and finally lose the weight you may have been struggling with for so long and not understanding why it was such a struggle.
By looking at this new research, we can understand why the miraculous diet pill will just never work.
Yes, there are foods we eat that work against our weight loss goals - like high-glycemic carbohydrate-rich foods.
And yes, we do need to do a moderate amount of exercise each day, as well.
Any harmful parasites or plaque deposits must be addressed first, though, for the typical diet and exercise changes to work.

The Goal is Easy Weight Loss - How Is This acieved?
May 14th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed Currently, there isn’t a 100 percent guaranteed easy weight loss system available and there may never be; good programs are out there that can make a difference, as many dieticians will tell you. Being overweight is the cause of many medical conditions which require long term attention but obesity also affects the way we see ourselves as well.
The most important aspect of any easy weight loss system is the person losing weight and many of these are available on the Internet. Your primary reason for losing weight must be clear whether it is too improve your looks or for health reasons; once you know this, then you must decide.
There are a number of things to consider which will help make your weight loss program easier including; the time of day you eat, how often, what you in fact eat and of course what physical activity you carry out. Losing weight quickly like twenty five pounds a more can actually do more harm than good to your body as it suddenly has to adapt to a lower weight and it can also give unrealistic future expectations.
To lose a realistic pound in weight each and every week all you need to do is reduce your food intake or exercise enough to loose 500 calories each day. Most of us eat too much and definitely an excess of junk foods which we shouldn’t rely on the way we do although it is not a good idea cut out everything you enjoy.
Of course we often eat more when we do not feel very good about ourselves or are depressed about our life, which is often called comfort eating. Bad eating habits are a real issue that can cause diabetes, cancer, various heart problems and high blood pressure. The answer to permanent weight reduction is not just about easy weight loss diets but the person themselves and their psychological attitude to the problem.
However, current research is showing that people that do not take weight loss programs too seriously are more likely to have success. A positive attitude and open mind are very often the keys to improving life style and eliminating the bad habits. Together with the loss of extra pounds comes a boost in energy and vitality as well as a sense of well being that is directly related to an improving self-esteem.
An effective and easy weight loss program will take many things into account but it will be different for every person but once the changes can be seen and felt by that person, it becomes easier to achieve.

Medications for Anxiety - Effective Relief for your Symptoms
May 14th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed What in the world can sufferers of unrelenting panic attacks, generalized anxiety attacks, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorder do to restore sanity to their lives! If you are one of the 40 million or so Americans who fit any one of those categories, stay with us to find some answers. Even in this very first paragraph we are offering you hope, information, and direction.Let me warn you, these tongue-twisting names may floor you, but just remember, it’s what they do for you, not their difficulty in pronouncing that counts. Our purpose is not to impress you with our medical knowledge, but to help you make important decisions about your health aided by information from the ADAA. We begin with these cautionary reminders: anxiety medications do not cure, they reduce symptoms basically so that other therapies may be administered; they should be used only with your doctor’s permission and care; and it is not for you to abruptly decide to stop any of the medications for anxiety, you do that at the direction of your doctor. We’ll start with the antidepressants which increase the concentration of the substance known as serotonin, which then alleviates the anxiety. There are three SSRI medications, the most recent antidepressants, and they are Zolaft, Paxil and Prozac, names most of you are familiar with. These are used to treat social and generalized anxiety; posttraumatic stress disorder; panic disorder; and obsessice compulsive disorder.
Next let’s look briefly at the Tricylic (TCA) antidepressants, also effective in treating anxirty, which are Doxeprin, Anafranil and Vivactil. These antidepressants work in a similar way to the SSRIs and target basically the same disorders. In addition to increasing the concentration of serotonin, the TCA also affects the activity of a substance called norepinepherine. Medical reports indicate that while TCAs are effective medicines, their unpleasant side effects make them less preferable than the SSRIs.
This last group functions to prevent a brain enzyme from destroying the norepinephrine and serotonin, so they’re called blocking agents. Their name is Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors or (MAOI). The drugs in this classification are Parnate, Nardil and Marplan which are used primarily for social anxiety, posttraumatic stress and panic attacks. They have been effect but as with most medicines, the side effects must be carefully checked.
Although the SSRIs is the only group federally approved, they all have generic equivalents on the market. All antidepressants are prescribed with dosage strength based on the specific requirements of each individual. Your doctor and your pharmacist should be fully informed of the possible side effects of each drug and should inform you of that info as well. Other short term interventions are also available. Research them carefully before using.
One of the main obstacles to be overcome in the decision to use medications for anxiety is the fear of the after effects - the fear and stigma that you may become addicted to the drug and will have withdrawal symptoms. While that is a real possibility, fear that you may become addicted to the drug and will have withdrawal symptoms. While that is a real possibility, just make sure you have a doctor well qualified to treat your specific anxiety disorder and that he knows his medicines and their side effects.
Although this has not been a scholarlyy treatise on medications for anxiety, now you should know that anxiety disorders are very treatable, and should hopefully know a litttle more about what the medications are and how they work. The good news for you anxiety sufferers is that these interventions are very effective in bringing the relief you’re seeking.

Learning to Accept Postpartum Hair Loss
May 10th, 2008    Subscribe To Our Feed Many women have heard of postpartum depression, but not as many are familiar with the condition known as postpartum hair loss. Hair loss after pregnancy is a very common condition amongst women. Many women begin to notice postpartum hair loss while shampooing their hair in the shower, when it seems as large amounts of hair are falling out.Pregnancy, while a wonderful experience, has a physically traumatic impact on a woman’s body and can become a major cause of female hair loss. A woman’s hormones fluctuate drastically before, during, and after birth. Hormonal changes in the cells in the blood stream have a direct impact on the function of hair follicles, thus leading to postpartum hair loss.
Thankfully, female hair loss associated with postpartum hormonal changes generally only lasts a few months. Most women do not need to seek treatment for this condition as the hair will grow back after the hormone levels in the body rebalance.
Women who have thin hair before pregnancy may be especially concerned about postpartum hair loss and might want to take preventative action to avoid the condition. The use of gentle brushing techniques accompanied by very gentle hair care products are some of the best ways to avoid excess hair loss.
Hair loss in women is not limited to postpartum causes. The overuse of chemicals to dye or perm one’s hair may also lead to follicle damage and hair loss. Adding these chemicals to the already sensitive condition of the body during and after pregnancy is guaranteed to lead to additional hair loss.
The chemicals in dyes and perms are a major concern for other reasons as well. Not only will the mother lose her hair, but there is no way to determine whether or not the chemicals contained in hair dye will have an adverse affect on the health of the baby. It is best to avoid these products at all costs.
Female hair loss may be caused by genetics or illness, so it is important to know if you are predisposed to hair loss before pregnancy. Unfortunately, hair loss caused by postpartum hormonal changes may only be the start of your hair loss experience. Knowing more about your odds of hair loss will leave you better equiped to deal with your unique situation.
Check with your hair care professional if you have any questions regarding your postpartum hair loss. He or she is familiar with the condition and will be able to provide additional information for dealing with your condition.
